Joining in the celebratory atmosphere of the entire school celebrates 55 years of construction, in the morning August.12.2017, Faculty of Graphic Arts and Media (FGAM), HCMUTE held a solemn 30th anniversary (1987-2017) in the second meeting room, center building with the participation of the Board of Management, Faculty board, Guests and more than 100 students, alumni of the FGAM.

This is important ceremony to commemorate 30 years of establishment and development and be grateful generations of faculty and the companion effort devoted to education for 30 years. The ceremony is also a place where businesses connect together, with students and alumni in the printing industry across the country.

To the school, the ceremony honored the contribution of Prof. Do Van Dung Dr. - Party Secretary, Rector of HCMUTE; Dr. Ngo Van Thuyen - Chairman of the University Council, the teachers from the faculties, departments and centers of the university. Former leadership of FGAM also has the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Quyen - Former Dean of FGAM period 1987 – 2005 and Faculty board through the periods. In addition, there are leaders of printing and packaging industry associations and enterprises also attended the ceremony.

Over the past 30 years of its establishment, FGAM is the unit gives learners the good train service to create a learning environment, scientific research, activities, cultivation and training standards at high level with low cost; in addition, it is also the only place in southern of Vietnam has engineer training in printing. In 24 graduated courses, students have become leaders who dedicated in offices, enterprise in printing industry; many lecturers were successful and brought honor to the university in educational institutions. With abundantly human resources, FGAM has created a profound, very proud, remains the deep feelings of generations of teachers and students, and above all, the spirit of unity, love and sentimental, is responsible for the school, society and students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Do Van Dung Dr. - Rector of HCMUTE praised the achievements that FGAM has achieved in 30 years, stressed the crucial role of FGAM in the training of human resources for the printing industry in both country. He appreciated the contributions of generations of faculty and also believed that, in the future, the Faculty will promote the tradition, actively innovate methods of teaching and learning in order to promote positivity, initiativity and creativity of academic staff and students in order to contribute effectively implementation of basic reforms, comprehensive education and training, and strive to achieve many accomplishments more to deserve a long history of 30 years. He also did not forget to thank the help of a companion for the university and faculty as well.

M.A. Le Cong Danh - Dean of FGAM expressed profound gratitude to the teachers, who laid the first bricks for the strong foundation of the faculty. The process of construction and development of the FGAM associated with the milestone, he also appreciate the contributions of the companion, sponsors in the process of construction and development of the faculty.

After the ceremony, there was the talk-show with Former Dean of FGAM through the period, leader of the Vietnam Printing Association and stakeholders about the history and development of the FGAM, the development orientation of FGAM in order to meet the training needs of human resource as well as conversations about the human situation with leaders of Vietnam Printing Association. During the seminar, there was a theme rather be concerned that the uniqueness of high quality education system by M.A. Tran Thanh Ha - Chief of Printing Technology in faculty of High quality education.

Following the program, the feast of gratitude Lecturer generations in FGAM has created many images of tearcher-student reunited together, reviewed moments of hardships of the past, holded hands together in a moment of gratitude. Thirty years have gone - memories still exist as just yesterday. Difficulties are still in front, all members will always be solidarity, autonomy and creativity to build FGAM grower, and the honor, be proud of what they have and be confident about the future, believe in the brilliant season. Faculty was also grateful the companies and the sponsors for 30-year companion.

One of the significant activities in the 30th Anniversary is the rewards of great spirit value of the alumni with the desire to support and encourage their juniors.

Also, there was the exhibition of products of FGAM academic staffs, students and printing, packaging enterprise. In addition, a workshop of printing and packaging is also a side event to help students and businesses approach and understand each other more.
