NOTIFICATION
On the registration of scientific research projects in 2020
Based on the formulation of the 2020 plan, the University notifies the units about the registration of research topics. Basis of science in 2020 is as follows:
- Prioritize topics associated with the business;
- Prioritizing the research projects of key research groups in the direction suitable to the registered research orientations;
- Prioritize topics that guide graduate students and postgraduate students;
- Each individual may register up to 01 key school level topic or 01 school level topic;
Details of the regulations and procedures for implementation are as follows:
SOME PROVISIONS ON IMPLEMENTATION OF RESEARCH PROJECTS
1.1. Science and Technology projects at school level
a) Focus level project
- The key university level project to solve scientific and technological tasks according to the central orientation of the University and units;
- Standards of the project manager:
+ Being an officer with a master degree or higher;
+ Experience in scientific research and technology transfer.
- Prioritizing the approval of projects with technology transfer commitments, projects associated with enterprises (50% of school capital and 50% of enterprise capital), with a maximum funding of VND 100,000,000.
- The approval funding level is based on the criteria that the article is an article and the ability to transfer technology (priority is given to the selection of topics with products in the order of Table 1)

b) University level topic
- Topics at the University level are not intended for PhD candidates, main lecturers;
- Prioritizing the selection of topics with research results published in domestic magazines or conferences; or topics of making teaching models;
- Funding of the university level scientific research project is based on the allocation of expenses to the faculty, which is proactively approved by the faculty with a budget of 3 - 10 million VND / 1 topic;
- Registration form includes 01 proposal form, 01 explanation and soft file sent to the unit;
- The project implementation period is from January 2020 to December 2020.
c) Topics for young lecturer
- In order to create conditions for young lecturers to have the opportunity to participate in scientific research, write articles published in magazines, conferences, and participate in young talent awards organized by the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Criteria for approval for scientific research topics for young teachers are as follows:
+ Lecturers under 35 years of age (lecturers are preferably masters);
+ Products of the thesis have articles published on international grading journals and conferences;
+ Participate in the award of young science talents (if proposed by the acceptance committee).
- Funding for each project is VND 15,000,000 - VND 20,000,000;
- Registration form includes 01 proposal form, 01 explanation and soft file sent to the unit;
- The project implementation period is from January 2020 to December 2020.
1.2 Research topics of graduate students, graduate students and students
a) Research projects of graduate students
- In order to improve the quality of doctoral and graduate student training, in 2020 the University continues to provide funding for scientific research support for postgraduate students. The approval criteria for scientific research projects of postgraduate and postgraduate students are the products of the thesis, which must have a scientific article published in the scorecarded scientific journal and the approval criteria according to Table 2; Table 2

b) Student's topic
- Funding only for projects with products capable of starting a business;
- Registration form includes 01 Registration Form and 01 Explanatory Note submitted to the department office;
- Results of the topic will be presented on the Poster;
- 01 teacher may guide at most 02 research topics for students' science;
- Implementation time is from December 2019 to June 2020;
- Encourage students in years 2 and 3 to participate in scientific research (Year 4 students are not the head of the registration topic);
- For projects that are accepted for acceptance, they will be provided with additional funding to participate in Student Scientific Research awards.
