Title:              QC Manager – Packaging team

Job Description

• Be responsible for the quality of all work performed by packaging team.
• Manage and oversee the daily service production in packaging team with focus on the final quality delivery.
• Review proofing and prepress production schedules with other managers to ensure the production is completed efficiently and on time.
• Provide the appropriate training to subordinates, proactively seek new and better ways for subordinates to perform their jobs.
• Be a role model in identifying and resolving project issues, resolve most complex problems using strong technical knowledge and negotiation skills to achieve win-win culture.
• Level up your team’s skills through mentorship of skills, process, and technical / artistic techniques.
• Serve as the main day-to-day contact on current projects for clients and internal resources; provide timely responses to all inquiries based on 24/7 services.  
• Perform other tasks as assigned by General Director/ Graphic Production Director.
• Report directly to Graphic Production Director.

• Work closely with the clients in a consultant role to explain and recommend how the services are done for most efficient production.
• Emphasize the need for quality in the work performed, flag the mistakes and require the action to be taken immediately.
• Provide regular feedback to subordinates, make the technical reviews with all employees assigned and document accurately.
• Maintain and share production status document of all assigned projects with Graphic Production Director.

Job Requirement

• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control role in prepress production in international printing/ packaging company. 
• Bachelor degree in Multimedia/ Graphic Design/ Art/ Printing.
• Expertise in Adobe suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign…) and Mac.
• Thorough knowledge of offset printing, digital prepress.
• Understanding of desktop publishing principles, software and equipment and issued as related to production, quality and efficiency.
• Strong skill in managing young team (at least 10 members).
• Good skills of presentation, negotiation, problem solving, organization and time management.
• Excellent English communication skill, both in speaking and writing.
• Good understanding of processes and challenges of creative and fast-paced product environment.
• Strong commitment to high-end graphic design and customer satisfaction.
